Castings have often existed as the foundation of decorative items, such as the base of a beautifully cut diamond.
However, I see the beauty in casting itself deeply. The model formed by my hands becomes an empty space in the mold in which the metal is poured.
Through its unique repeated process where I create something and instantly become nothing in next step, casing brings authentic beauty that is genuinely emerging from within the material itself, challenging the beauty and value in conventional context.
